The printer only prints out a blank page. I contacted Brother support and determined that it is not a hardware issue as we were able to emulate the brother printer driver using the built in HP Laserjet IIP driver. Using the HP driver, the document prints but not at a decent resolution that the brother is capable of.
Brother suggested I contact Microsoft phone support as the problem is with the drivers however Microsoft were not able to help unless I pay. Brother stated that they do not write the drivers, but that they are done by Microsoft and are built in to Vista and XP for that matter.

Sjburel New Member. I am having a problem reinstalling a Brother MFC on vista home premium. The print worked fine until recently. The first sign of trouble was when I would start the computer it would alway reinstall the drivers. Then all of a sudden it does not recognize the printer at all.
